Denver White

Denver learned to play guitar at age 10 (July 1998). He started out by playing basic Spanish such as Carlos Santana as well as jazz. Three years later, he was performing as lead guitarist with gospel groups at church with his father who taught him how to play.

At this point he was slowly gaining an interest in Gypsy Kings in an attempt to improve his Spanish/ Gitanos style. From 2001 to 2004, he performed at gospel concerts where he would perform music by such artists as Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, at that period he played for a band (Allergia) with his father George White.

That’s when he also gained considerable experience in jazz, rock, funk and RnB. From this period he started writing his own music and from 2005 onwards Denver only performed solo. In 2006 he started to program backing tracks and since than he has not stopped. Since then he has played in weddings, Northern Arts, Splashy fen Fest, Birthdays to Year End Parties, Casino and Fundraising Events.

Denver White performs covers from the following artists: Gypsy Kings, George Benson, Earl Klugh, Peter White, Lee Ritenour, Jonathan Butler, Paul Jackson jr….
